Terms for Reviewers

Effective Date: July 1, 2026 · Last Updated: July 1, 2026

1. Welcome to the Program

As an approved ReView Me Right reviewer, you are part of an exclusive network of verified reviewers who experience businesses complimentarily — dining, hospitality, wellness, retail, and more — and write honest, high-quality reviews in exchange. Your visit is pre-paid by the business through our platform. No bill, no receipt, no reimbursement. These terms explain what we expect of you and what happens if you don't deliver.

By accepting a listing claim, you agree to these terms in full.

2. How It Works

When you claim a listing:

  • You receive a unique QR code on your dashboard after claiming
  • You present the QR code at the business — staff scan it to confirm your visit
  • Your visit is completely complimentary — no payment required at the business
  • You complete the experience within 7 days of claiming
  • You submit your completed review within 48 hours of your visit
  • Your review is moderated and, if approved, published to the business profile

3. Honesty and Integrity

ReView Me Right is built on trust. Your reviews must reflect your genuine, personal experience. You may not:

  • Accept additional gifts or compensation from the business beyond the listed experience
  • Submit a review for an experience you did not personally have
  • Fabricate, exaggerate, or misrepresent your experience
  • Submit plagiarized content or AI-generated reviews as your own
  • Claim a listing you have no intention of completing
  • Provide honest, accurate star ratings across all categories

4. Your Complimentary Visit

Your experience at the business is fully covered. The business pre-funded your visit through our platform. You present your QR code, staff confirms the visit, and you receive the listed experience at no charge.

Tips to staff are welcome and strongly encouraged. You are receiving a complimentary experience — tipping is the gracious and right thing to do. Tips are not covered by the platform and come from you directly.

Do not attempt to pay for the experience at the counter. The visit is pre-paid. If staff are unfamiliar with the QR process, ask them to contact their manager or reach us at support@reviewmeright.com.

5. Consequences for Non-Completion

If you claim a listing and fail to submit a complete review by your submission deadline:

  • Your claim is immediately forfeited
  • You will not be compensated in any way for an incomplete or forfeited claim
  • You remain personally liable for a $25 non-completion fee plus the retail value of the experience, as agreed in the Reviewer Agreement you signed at onboarding

Your visit was complimentary. Failing to deliver the review is a breach of the Reviewer Agreement you signed — ReView Me Right reserves the right to pursue the owed amount through legal action.

If you are unable to complete an experience due to an emergency or extenuating circumstances, contact us at support@reviewmeright.com before your deadline. We handle these situations on a case-by-case basis.

6. Review Quality Standards

All reviews are moderated before publication. A review may be rejected and sent back for revision if it:

  • Is under 300 words or significantly over 500 without meaningful additional content
  • Contains profanity or personal attacks on staff
  • Does not describe the actual experience in specific detail
  • Includes photos or video that are blurry, unrelated, or clearly not from the visit
  • Appears to be AI-generated or copied from another source

You will have 48 hours to address revision requests before the submission is considered incomplete.

7. Video and Filming Guidelines

Every review must include a minimum 15-second video taken during your visit. When filming, you must:

  • Capture only food, drinks, the physical space, and atmosphere — never identifiable individuals
  • Never record, photograph, or otherwise capture another guest, staff member, or any person without their explicit, informed consent
  • Avoid filming in areas where a reasonable expectation of privacy exists (restrooms, private dining rooms, back-of-house, etc.)
  • Comply with all applicable local laws governing photography and recording in public and semi-public spaces

Violation of these guidelines — including submission of video that captures identifiable individuals without consent — is grounds for immediate removal from the program and may expose you to legal liability.

8. Content Ownership and License

You retain ownership of the written reviews, photos, and videos you submit. By submitting content to ReView Me Right, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to publish, display, and promote your content on our platform and in our marketing materials, with attribution to your display name.

You represent that you have the right to submit all content you provide, and that your content does not infringe on any third-party rights.

9. Program Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to participate. ReView Me Right reserves the right to suspend or permanently remove any reviewer from the program for violations of these terms, dishonest conduct, or repeated failure to complete claims.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. For material changes, we will notify you by email.

11. Tax Disclosure

The fair market value of complimentary experiences you receive through ReView Me Right may be considered taxable income under applicable IRS guidelines. You are solely responsible for determining and fulfilling your tax reporting obligations. ReView Me Right will provide an annual earnings summary upon request. We recommend consulting a qualified tax professional regarding your obligations.
